In the Third South Asian Regional Conference of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology SARCD III held at Colombo, Sri Lanka from 9th-12th October 2003, three delegates from Nepal had participated. Hon. Karu Jayasuriya, Minister for Power and Energy of Sri Lanka, inaugurated the Conference. Nepalese delegates were Dr. V. B. Rajbhandari, Dr. Mahesh Shah and Dr. Hari Narayan Gupta. The Fifth Executive Committee of SARAD had taken place on 9th October. Of the three nominees from SODVELON for the next Executive committee of SARAD from Nepal Dr. Hari Narayan Gupta had been elected new Treasurer of SARAD and members were Dr. Dinesh Binod Pokhrel and Dr. Farooque Ahmed Mikrani. Dr. V. B. Rajbhandari has been appointed by the new Executive Committee of SARAD as local representative of SARAD to deal with SAARC Secretariat. The Third General Body Meeting of SARAD took place on 11th October, 2003. The Election for the Third Executive Committee of SARAD was confirmed.
